“Robin is one of the most dynamic, inclusive and interactive speakers you will find.”   Kim Tempe High School

Robin Afinowich understands the need for resilience and trauma-informed care at such a deeply personal level, she is enabled to present the idea of professional resilience at the macrosociological level, while maintaining such an intimate connection with her audience one if left wondering if she is speaking directly to them. I lead a team of park rangers who not only encounter a prevalence of trauma in their daily interactions with park users but must learn to balance what they encounter on the fulcrum of their own unique experiences. Robin has made two presentations on professional resilience to my ranger team. Interpersonally engaging, she uses therapeutic perspective, experience, humor, vulnerability, and just a little mysticism to show how to ask permission, offer control, and find support, not just in the lives they encounter, but the lives they lead. We will have her back for a third session. Robin has my heartfelt respect and strongest recommendation.  Michael S. City of Tempe

“Robin hosted a Rooted in Resilience workshop with Fresh Start Women’s Foundation for a Mother’s Day event. The serenity and wisdom she brought to the group left an air of hope in the room. It takes a certain kind of demeanor, articulation, and grace to not only captivate an audience but to also leave them wanting to take the next steps towards betterment – and Robin possesses those qualities innately.” – Adisa Podrug, Community Engagement Coordinator, Fresh Start Women’s Foundation.

Robin customizes training and programs to meet the unique needs of each organization.
